At Summit, we create an interactive, fun and safe environment where children learn about Jesus and apply the gospel in a way that is culturally relevant to their lives and development.

God gave us Jesus.

Your First Visit

For your first visit to Summit, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the service so we can help you check your children in and introduce you to some of our Summit Kids team members.

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. Please see our security policy below for information on how we keep all of our kids safe.

Partnering with Parents

We partner to help your kids see God for who He is, see themselves the way God does, and love others the way God does. We use the Orange Curriculum to teach and equip our kids on Sunday. We also provide materials to inspire biblical conversations for your family throughout the week. We want to partner with parents to help Summit Kids develop vibrant faith!

One of our primary goals for Children’s Ministry is to provide a safe and secure place for children to learn about Jesus and have fun. We do that through several measures, all of which are meant to keep our ministry secure and provide peace of mind for parents.

Name Tags
We employ a name tag system. Each child is given a name tag that is placed upon the child’s back. As the parent, you are given a tag that corresponds with your child’s. When you come to pick up your child, you must show the parent tag to the teacher and they will match it with your child’s name tag.

Classroom Safety
Safety within the classroom includes a policy that no volunteer will be alone with a child or group of children under any circumstance. There will always be at least two volunteers with a child or classroom at all times-No Exceptions.

Volunteer Screening
Finally, all of our volunteers and teachers have gone through an application process, an interview, received basic children’s ministry training, and have had a national background check to provide added security.
