ABOUT THIS SERIES

Uncomplicated

A study of the Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 6:9-13

In this 6-week series we are going to examine the on ramp Jesus uses in his model of how to pray. And interestingly Jesus’ on ramp is two instructions on how not to pray.

There is no finish line when it comes to the spiritual practice of prayer, there’s also no “one size fits all” approach. Prayer is unique to the person, God created and designed each of us in our own unique way and while we will certainly share similarities and learn from one another, we will all pray in our own unique way, none more proper than the other.

Through this series we will study various scripture about prayer and tools and patterns to help build a robust prayer life. There is freedom and grace as Jesus promised us, and in that freedom we can move toward the hope and healing life and liberty we have access to, through prayer. The moment we pray, God is all ears. We don’t need to clamor for his attention, in Christ we have it.

Prayer is a significant and limitless spiritual practice for followers of Jesus.
