ABOUT THIS SERIES
So That You May Believe
There is a really beautiful interplay between the simplicity and depth in the gospel account of the book of John. It’s been said that this book is a pool in which a child may wade and an elephant may swim. Or put another way, it is so simple that even a child will love them, but its statements are so profound that no philosopher can fathom them.
John chapter 20 verse 30 states the purpose of this New Testament book. “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
So that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ and the by believing you may have life in his name. The Jesus we read about in the Bible is alive, He is real and it only takes a moment with Him to change your life forever.
This is our hope. This is our prayer. That those who believe in Jesus, would not settle but would continue to believe and grow in that belief of who Jesus is.
