Depending on the topic of conversation and our individual thoughts and opinions, at times we can all be a skeptic, a heretic, and a saint. And while that may not make sense now, the hope is that in this 3-week series, we’ll be able to reflect and see this in ourselves.
Questioning is a natural part of being human, and because of that, it’s also a natural part of faith. Our faith doesn’t ask us to check our humanity at the door. Our faith invites us to be transformed, but we’re still human. And being human means, we ask questions.
We may never get all our questions in life answered, but Jesus is asking each of us, “Who do you say I am?” We need to start with that question first.
Most of us, regardless of where we are on the spectrum of spirituality are going to ask questions. And if we listen, and we look, we’ll find Jesus, offering us evidence.
