A teaching series on the season of Advent.

Advent is a time of waiting and preparing our hearts for the arrival of Jesus. In this waiting, we focus on Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. To do this we will study and unpack narratives in the life of Jesus, because He is the full revelation of the God of True Hope, Genuine Peace, Authentic Joy, and Unfailing Love.

Behold: to stand in awe and be amazed.

Few things kill awe and wonder like familiarity. And often times as Jesus followers our celebration of Christmas can become so familiar to us that we begin to lose the wonder of its essence. A question worthy of wrestling with daily and weekly this Advent season is, “Where is Jesus in this?” Where is His Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love in every circumstance of life?

May we experience a break up with the hyper-familiarity that we’ve perhaps approached this season with in years past. And may we behold a new thing, that the God worthy of us standing in awe and wonder of… has come to be with us!

May we behold the wonder of our God.
