JAMES – Faith & Works

The letter of James is a blunt, no-nonsense letter written to the early Christian churches, and to the church today. Through the whole letter, James makes it clear that if we claim to have faith in Jesus as, then we ought to act like it.

We can drop all the human qualifications, what we’ve done, the titles we’ve been given, they are not what define us or give us purpose. The King we serve is supreme over all that fluff, the way James depicts us to live, is the humble way, the way of Jesus.

Genuine faith in Jesus will transform us from the inside out, it shapes our way of life.

Throughout this series, take 15 minutes from your day and read through the entire letter in one sitting. Do this multiple times, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach and show you things in the Word.
