IN OUR CITY

We are all about partnering with organizations and people in our city who are doing a phenomenal job serving and empowering people. We have a few intentional partners, who we call our ‘Community Partners’.

THIS MONTH’S FEATURED COMMUNITY PARTNER

World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to empower the local church to serve immigrants and refugees.

Good Neighbor Team: A good neighbor team with World Relief is a team of 6-10 individuals from Summit, who together, help a refugee or immigrant family adjust to life in Spokane. The primary goal is to create a friendship that naturally leads into helping with a variety of tasks during the resettlement process. If you are interested or want more info on a good neighbor team, please email maddie@summitspokane.com

THIS MONTH’S SERVING OPPORTUNITY

February 27th, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

Come serve with us at Second Harvest for our Bite2Go program as we build kits that will provide weekend food relief to kids and families facing chronic food shortages at home. Please email Maddie at maddie@summitspokane.com to register.

Affiliates

We know that God uses our talents and life experiences to reach and encourage people, and want our church to have lots of opportunities to volunteer with and support a variety of organizations. Affiliates are an extension of our Community Partners program: groups that are doing amazing work in Spokane that we hope our church will get behind through volunteering or other support.
