God’s work through Summit’s Adult Ministries this last year has been inspiring!
Kingdom work is happening in our community as people continue to grow in Jesus through groups, courses, and next steps in faith.
One example of God’s work this last year comes from our Men’s Retreat.
Men were deeply encouraged as they set aside time to grow in their relationship with Jesus while intentionally connecting with one another. Bonds were formed and the weekend was deeply impactful, creating lasting ripple effects, in the lives of the men who attended.
I am also encouraged by the hundreds of leaders who have stepped up to lead and facilitate groups here at Summit Church, investing in and partnering with Jesus in the lives of our Summit community. Real connections and moments of growth are taking place amidst everyday real life.

This year in Summit Kids has truly been one to celebrate. As I look back, I’m reminded again and again of what happens when we wait on the Lord — and then faithfully respond when He says “yes” and “go.”
Over the summer, God continued to say “yes” as we experienced our biggest VBS ever and hosted our very first Kids Camp. Through all the summer fun, more than 500 kids encountered Jesus, alongside nearly 200 incredible volunteers who made it all possible. The excitement and momentum at these events is something I never want to take for granted.
One of the greatest joys of this year was the opening of our preschool — a dream that had been prayed over for more than a decade. It has been such a gift to watch God’s faithfulness unfold as Summit Preschool Academy welcomed 32 preschoolers and their families in its very first year. The preschool also brought new life to our Summit South classrooms, creating whimsical, thoughtful, and fun spaces where we get to teach, love, and lead kids every week.
We also celebrated the opening of a brand-new kids space at our Summit U District campus. After a long season of construction, the Lord’s timing was perfect, and we moved into the space in late November. Seeing kids’ faces light up as they walk into these five beautiful, thoughtfully designed classrooms has been one of my favorite moments of the year. These spaces help us create safe, engaging environments where kids and families can experience God together.
This year has been a powerful reminder for me that when we listen, obey, and follow where God leads, He is faithful to move — and His goodness meets us every step of the way.
I am so thankful for this opportunity to serve this community of Kids and families. I pray this upcoming year is just as filled with opportunities to advance His kingdom.

In 2025, if there was one specific thing to put the wind in my sails, it was Invite Night. In mid-September, we saw 640 students come to Summit and encounter the living God. We spent a chunk of the event in the backyard doing a sort of carnival, but then we spent most of the night inside for a worship concert, where we showed that the gospel is compelling.
I love this memory because it’s such a good snapshot of what God is doing in Student Ministries right now. Revival is breaking out in these younger generations! We’re seeing students come to a saving faith and get baptized by the dozens. In this way, it is the great honor of our lives to be used by God to lead these young lives to Him, and raise up the next generation of Christian leaders.

The gospel is spreading in Spokane through our Partners and we are blessed to be a part of it.
For whatever reason some people won’t set foot in a church – some have deep church hurt, some simply think they don’t need church or Jesus. The reality is, Summit’s Community Partners encounter people that Summit as a church can’t reach. We pour into these organizations because they are making real change in people’s lives.
As I look back on the year, my favorite stories are from our Partners’ clients who experienced redemption after encountering Jesus. Some Partners share God’s love through a meal or simple care, and others boldly evangelize; whatever their methods, the gospel is spreading in Spokane through our Partners and we are blessed to be a part of it.
Our 10 year vision is to be a spirit-led family of five churches by 2033, pursuing the flourishing of our region through multiplicative movements of disciple making, focused through individual lives and kingdom minded community partnerships.
In ‘24-’25 we launched our first ever vision offering and your generosity and support was mind blowing. Together we raised $262,000 towards our 10 year vision.

FROM PASTOR GRANT
Summit family,
In light of our annual report, there are four words that have been dominant in my mind and spirit: awe, gratitude, contentment, and more.
I’m not sure what stood out to you as you read and gained a broader perspective of what God has done in and through our community this past year. But let me share what I see.
First, awe. Throughout life, it’s easier to lose our sense of awe than it is to deepen it. Jesus calls His disciples — and us — through the timelessness of Scripture to a childlike faith. Children don’t require much from life to be in awe. There’s a simple willingness within them to be amazed by pretty basic things. But as we age, cynicism often comes more easily than awe. God is not a God of entertainment — but He is a God of awe. Hearing the stories and seeing the impact the gospel has had on individuals and on us as a church family is truly awe-inducing.
Gratitude. There’s almost a sense of disbelief that wells up within me as I read the annual report. Are the things I’m seeing with my own eyes real? But when I push through that, I find myself expressing sincere and genuine thankfulness to God for allowing us to be part of what He is doing in people’s lives.
Thank You, Jesus, for restoring hope to those battling hopelessness. Thank You for pouring out a peace that surpasses understanding into situations that are chaotic, broken, and confusing. Thank You for giving us faith to trust You in the midst of unknowns and unfamiliar territory. Thank You for forgiving our sins and transforming us by Your merciful grace.
Contentment. There’s a deep sense of this is enough. If what God has done in this church is all He will ever do, I find myself at peace — because the true treasure of heaven is not all the things God does for us, but Jesus Himself. I am content with the measure of Jesus He has allowed us to know. He is more than enough, and that settles my at-times restless mind and frenetic spirit.
More. As I read the annual report, I sense that Jesus has more for each of us individually and for us as a community. It feels like an open invitation — a steady challenge — to seek hard after His Kingdom and His righteousness in our life together. To never settle for living on yesterday’s manna, but to accept, pursue, and receive what He has for us next: more of His love, more of His heart, more of His presence, and a deeper partnership with Him in our personal faith journeys and in our shared mission of helping people come to, grow in, and live for Jesus.
May we be a people who never lose our sense of awe in God.
May we be a people marked by endless gratitude and worship.
May we be a people who rest content in the fullness of Jesus.
And may we be a people who empty the tanks seeking hard after our King and His Kingdom.
