These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our text messaging service (“the Service”) operated by Summit III Foursquare Church (“the Church”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• Account means a subscription to Our text messaging system for receiving youth group notifications.
• Church refers to Summit III Foursquare Church, 1801 E 29th Ave, Spokane, WA 99203.
• Device means any device that can receive text messages, including mobile phones and tablets.
• Service refers to the Church’s text messaging service used for youth group communications.
• You means the individual (student, parent, or guardian) accessing or using the Service.

2. Service Overview
Our text messaging Service is used solely to communicate relevant updates about Summit Youth Group, including but not limited to:

• Event notifications, times, and locations
• Last-minute changes or cancellations
• Special announcements or volunteer needs
• Opportunities for involvement or reminders about registration

3. Consent to Receive Messages
By subscribing to the Service, You provide express consent to receive recurring informational text messages from or on behalf of the Church. These messages may be sent using automated technology, but no purchase is required to join.

If You are under the age of 13, You may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency may vary based on youth group activity, but You can generally expect 1–4 messages per week.

Standard message and data rates may apply from Your mobile carrier. We are not responsible for any charges billed to You by Your carrier as a result of participating in the Service.

5. Opting Out
You may unsubscribe from the Service at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a final confirmation text and will no longer receive further messages.

To rejoin the Service, you may need to resubscribe using the original opt-in method (such as a signup form or text keyword).

6. Privacy and Data Use
We take Your privacy seriously. Your phone number and any other information You provide will only be used for youth group communication purposes. We will never sell, rent, or share Your information with third parties, except as required by law or with Your explicit consent.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• While We strive to provide accurate and timely information, We make no guarantees that messages will be delivered without error or delay. Delivery may be impacted by Your carrier, signal strength, phone settings, or technical outages.
• You are responsible for ensuring that Your contact information is current and accurate.
• The Church is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

8. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We may also update these Terms at Our discretion. If We make material changes, We will provide reasonable notice through the Service or Our website.

Your continued use of the Service following any updates constitutes Your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your participation in the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that We believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or disrupts the integrity of the Service.
